Responsibilities
- Prepare and assist patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and medication administration
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Sterilize equipment and maintain clean examination rooms
- Coordinate with physicians and healthcare team to ensure seamless patient flow
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Manage front desk duties including scheduling and insurance verification
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Certification in BLS/CPR
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Valid Arizona driver's license
