As a Medical Assistant at our center, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the highest quality of care. You will work closely with our physicians and nursing staff to deliver a seamless patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform Clinical Duties: Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient examinations, measurements, and vitals.
- Phlebotomy & Lab Work: Accurately draw blood and perform basic laboratory tests as required.
- Administrative Support: Manage patient check-ins, update medical records, and schedule appointments efficiently.
- Medication Management: Prepare and administer medications as directed by providers and maintain accurate medication logs.
- Patient Education: Provide clear instructions to patients regarding medications, diets, and follow-up care.
- Infection Control: Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized clinical environment following strict health and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification: Current CMA, RMA, or NCMA certification is preferred.
- Licensure: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Skills: Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) software and strong computer skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient-first approach.
