Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and document medical histories accurately
- Assist physicians during clinical procedures and perform basic laboratory tests
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision
- Maintain electronic health records with precision and confidentiality
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow efficiently
- Ensure examination rooms are stocked, sanitized, and ready for patient care
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical or ambulatory healthcare setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with diverse patients
- Ability to multitask efficiently in high-volume environment
- Nevada state certification and BLS/CPR certification required
