Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Transport residents safely within the facility
- Document care activities accurately in resident records
- Support resident independence while maintaining dignity
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care plans
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Active Texas CNA certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper techniques
- Compassionate attitude and patience with elderly residents
- Must pass background check and drug screening
