Responsibilities
- Patient Management: Perform comprehensive patient intake, accurately measure vital signs, and prepare patients for examinations.
- Clinical Support: Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Laboratory Duties: Perform phlebotomy, collect and process lab specimens, and conduct basic point-of-care testing.
- Administrative Operations: Manage electronic health records (EHR), schedule appointments, and handle insurance verification.
- Infection Control: Maintain strict sterilization protocols and ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CMA, RMA, or NCMA certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a hospital or outpatient setting.
- Licensure: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centric approach.
