Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including patient vitals assessment, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Assist providers with examinations, minor procedures, and patient education
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision and confidentiality
- Schedule appointments, handle insurance verification, and manage front desk operations
- Maintain sterile clinical environments and inventory of medical supplies
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Provide compassionate patient support during examinations and procedures
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Meditech preferred)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Pennsylvania medical assistant license
- Strong attention to detail and HIPAA compliance knowledge
