Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by assisting with examinations and treatments.
- Take and record vital signs and medical histories accurately.
- Assist providers with procedures, including phlebotomy and EKGs.
- Maintain and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and referrals.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) efficiently.
Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Current CMA or RMA certification preferred (NHA accepted).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong computer literacy and experience with EHR systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
