Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Accurately document patient information in electronic health records (EHR)
- Perform vital signs, injections, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient education materials
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory of medical supplies
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a medical setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, NextGen preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts (days, evenings, weekends)
- Oklahoma state medical assistant license
