Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and medication administration
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems and ensure accurate documentation
- Schedule appointments, handle insurance verification, and process billing
- Maintain sterile examination environments and sterilize medical instruments
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Coordinate with specialists and pharmacies for seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Current Oregon MA certification (CMA/RMA) or eligible for immediate certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- Strong phlebotomy and venipuncture skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Basic EKG interpretation knowledge
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
