Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and document medical histories
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and diagnostic tests
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow efficiently
- Ensure exam rooms are stocked, clean, and compliant with safety protocols
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Accredited Medical Assistant certificate or associate degree required
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a medical setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical terminology
