Responsibilities
- Perform patient intakes, including verifying insurance and updating medical histories.
- Measure and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens accurately according to strict protocols.
- Manage patient records using our advanced Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
- Provide patient education and medication instructions to ensure adherence.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (CMA, RMA, or MA certification preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a busy medical office setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
