Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems accurately
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Ensure sterile environments and maintain medical supplies
- Administer injections and medications as directed
- Document patient encounters in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Excellent phlebotomy and venipuncture skills
- Strong communication and patient interaction abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
