Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals (BP, pulse, temp) and basic triage.
- Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and minor surgeries.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain inventory.
- Manage patient intake, records, and insurance verification efficiently.
- Administer medications, injections, and vaccines as directed by physicians.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinical staff.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinic safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a fast-paced medical setting.
- Proficient in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Valid Texas Driver's License (if required for facility travel).
