Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Accurately measuring and recording patient vital signs, height, weight, and temperature.
- Preparing patients for examination by the physician, including draping and positioning.
- Assisting the provider during examinations and minor procedures.
- Performing venipuncture (phlebotomy) and EKG procedures as required.
- Maintaining and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment per strict hygiene protocols.
- Managing patient records electronically and ensuring confidentiality.
- Providing clear instructions to patients regarding medications and aftercare.
What We Are Looking For:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or medical office setting.
- Strong proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
