Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and medication administration
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision and confidentiality
- Handle patient intake, scheduling, and insurance verification processes
- Maintain sterile examination environments and stock medical supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medication protocols
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in ambulatory or hospital setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, Athenahealth, or similar)
- Valid CPR/BLS certification from AHA or equivalent
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision
