Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy procedures
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor surgical procedures
- Manage patient records using EHR systems with HIPAA compliance
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and examination rooms
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Coordinate laboratory specimens and test processing
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Current BLS/CPR certification
