Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by taking medical histories and measuring vital signs.
- Assist physicians and nurses during exams and clinical procedures.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
- Administer medications and injections under the direct supervision of a licensed provider.
- Update and maintain accurate patient medical records and charts.
- Coordinate patient referrals and communicate effectively with other departments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience in a clinical or outpatient setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
