Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, intake, and preparation for examinations.
- Assist providers with minor office procedures and injections.
- Administer medications and draw blood as required.
- Manage patient scheduling, confirm appointments, and handle inquiries.
- Maintain accurate medical records in the EHR system.
- Ensure exam rooms are fully stocked and sanitized.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent preferred.
- Current BLS and CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) software.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends.
