Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital signs measurements and patient intake
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile environments
- Process lab specimens and basic diagnostic tests
- Update electronic health records (EHR) accurately
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.)
- Strong phlebotomy skills
- Excellent patient communication abilities
