Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Prepare and maintain medical records using EHR systems
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory control
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Current Texas Medical Assistant certification or CMA/RMA
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, NextGen preferred)
- Phlebotomy and injection administration skills
- Exceptional patient communication abilities
- Flexibility to work across multiple Dallas locations
- Background check and drug screen clearance
