Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to provide high-quality patient care in our El Paso clinic. You will play a vital role in ensuring our patients feel comfortable and receive the best possible service.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and vitals monitoring with precision and care.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure a clean environment.
- Administer injections, immunizations, and perform basic lab tests (phlebotomy).
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) accurately and confidentially.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding instructions and follow-up care.
- Handle billing and insurance verification as needed.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
