Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight measurements.
- Greet patients warmly and escort them to examination rooms to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary medical instruments and supplies prior to patient arrival.
- Assist providers with patient examinations and minor procedures.
- Manage patient records accurately, ensuring strict adherence to HIPAA privacy regulations.
- Handle insurance verification and assist with scheduling follow-up appointments.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Medical Assistant (MA) graduate.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is preferred.
- Reliable transportation and proof of eligibility to work in the US.
