Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Prepare patients for examinations by assisting with history taking, vitals, and basic physical assessments.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, draw blood, and administer medications or injections as directed by providers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) in strict compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Greet patients warmly, manage front desk flow, and ensure a positive patient experience.
- Assist providers during procedures and educate patients on treatment plans and post-care instructions.
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and ensure exam rooms are sanitized and well-stocked.
What We Are Looking For:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NCMA, or equivalent) is required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a fast-paced medical environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the nursing and clinical staff.
