Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and diagnostic tests
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring optimal sterility and organization
- Administer medications and injections per physician protocols
- Manage patient records using EHR systems with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule appointments efficiently
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory or hospital setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Washington State MA license
- Pass background check and drug screening
