Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals monitoring, and medical history assessments.
- Assist physicians and nurses during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and administer medications and injections as directed.
- Manage and maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and documentation.
- Coordinate patient appointments, lab tests, and referrals.
- Maintain a sterile and organized clinical environment.
- Provide patient education and answer questions regarding treatments.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
- Current Indiana Medical Assistant license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHR software.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
