Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight measurements.
- Prepare patients for examinations by assisting with history taking and rooming.
- Administer injections, immunizations, and medications under the supervision of a licensed provider.
- Collect and process lab specimens according to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).
- Greet patients and manage front desk reception duties, including scheduling appointments.
- Assist physicians with minor office procedures and wound care.
Qualifications
- Current CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) certification required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centric attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Must be detail-oriented and possess strong computer proficiency.
