Your Role:
You will be the heartbeat of our clinic, ensuring patients receive the highest level of care while maintaining smooth clinical operations. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow with us.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications, injections, and vaccines under the supervision of a licensed provider.
- Perform comprehensive vital signs, physical exams, and basic laboratory tests (e.g., EKGs, urinalysis).
- Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures, ensuring patient comfort and privacy.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records using our EMR/EHR system.
- Greet patients, manage front desk reception duties, and schedule appointments efficiently.
- Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and preventative care plans.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (Certificate, Diploma, or Associate Degree).
- Certification as a CMA, RMA, NCMA, or equivalent required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a medical office or outpatient setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Proficient with electronic health records (EHR) and practice management software.
