Job Overview
We are looking for compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistants to provide exceptional patient care. You will be the bridge between our patients and our medical providers, ensuring a smooth and welcoming clinical experience.
Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Obtain vital signs, update patient medical histories, and prepare patients for examinations by the provider.
- Assisting Providers: Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during exams and procedures.
- Lab & Diagnostics: Perform basic laboratory tests, draw blood, and prepare samples for analysis.
- Administrative Duties: Manage patient check-in/check-out, verify insurance information, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain clean, sanitized, and organized exam rooms and waiting areas.
- Medication Management: Prepare and administer medications as directed by a provider, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CMA (Certified Medical Assistant), RMA (Registered Medical Assistant), or MA certification preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Licensure: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications.
- Experience: 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office or hospital setting is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) software.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
