Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and patient preparation
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Administer medications and immunizations under provider supervision
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Maintain sterile examination environments and equipment sterilization
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in ambulatory or hospital setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, Athenahealth, or similar)
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
- Washington state MA license in good standing
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments with attention to detail
- Flexibility for varied shifts including weekends
