Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during examinations and medical procedures
- Perform patient vital signs and medical history documentation
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Process laboratory specimens and perform basic diagnostic tests
- Manage patient records using EHR systems with precision
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in remote settings
