Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intake assessments and vital measurements in clinical settings
- Perform phlebotomy and basic laboratory procedures with precision
- Assist providers with examinations and minor clinical procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation accurately
- Deliver telehealth support for remote patient consultations
- Coordinate patient education materials and discharge instructions
- Maintain sterile examination environments and inventory control
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- Texas state medical assistant license
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, eClinicalWorks preferred)
- Phlebotomy and venipuncture expertise
- Strong telehealth communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
- BLS/CPR certification required
