Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality direct patient care in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations with precision and patient safety as priority
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions, medications, and preventive care
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital policies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process enhancement projects
Qualifications
- Current Georgia RN license (or compact license with GA residence)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in Med/Surg or telemetry units
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to function in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
