Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation using proper techniques
- Administer medications as delegated by licensed nurses
- Document patient care accurately and maintain confidential records
- Support activities of daily living (ADLs) and maintain a safe environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize resident outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Kansas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in long-term care or home health
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly patients
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer skills for documentation
