Responsibilities
- Perform patient intakes, vitals checks, and medical history reviews accurately.
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and patient care.
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring all medical equipment is sanitized and functional.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens (phlebotomy experience preferred).
- Manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) and document patient visits properly.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and ensure a welcoming environment.
- Administer medications or injections as directed by the provider.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong computer proficiency and familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
