Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during medical procedures.
- Take and record vital signs and medical histories accurately.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and administer medications as directed by physicians.
- Manage patient flow, scheduling appointments, and answering phone inquiries professionally.
- Update and maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with patient education and provide instructions for home care.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and possess a valid state-issued driver's license.
