Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow efficiently
- Administer medications and immunizations under provider supervision
- Maintain sterile examination rooms and inventory of medical supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Accredited Medical Assistant program certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Valid Michigan driver's license (if required for travel)
