Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination and assist physicians and nurse practitioners during clinical procedures.
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab draws accurately and efficiently.
- Manage patient records, update electronic health records (EHR) systems, and ensure data integrity.
- Greet patients, verify insurance information, and handle check-in/check-out processes with professionalism.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized clinical environment, including exam rooms and equipment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA) preferred; willing to train the right candidate.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction.
- Proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical records software.
