Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical findings.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies while strictly adhering to safety protocols and medication administration checks.
- Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and patient progress, ensuring accurate and timely charting.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient recovery.
- Provide compassionate patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
