As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring our patients receive the highest level of care in a respectful and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by assisting with history taking and vitals.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and phlebotomy as directed.
- Administer medications and injections under the supervision of a physician.
- Manage patient records and electronic health records (EHR) accurately.
- Coordinate referrals and communicate effectively with patients and providers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification.
- Strong computer proficiency with EHR systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.
