Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Administer patient vitals (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) and take accurate medical histories.
- Assistance: Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures.
- Lab Duties: Collect and process lab specimens, including blood draws and urinalysis.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized examination room.
- Admin Support: Schedule appointments, update Electronic Health Records (EHR), and handle incoming calls.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification: Current CMA, RMA, or EMT certification is a plus; certification assistance available for entry-level candidates.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
