Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk reception area to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Record patient medical histories, vitals, and symptoms accurately into Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Assist providers during examinations by preparing instruments and rooms, and performing basic procedures.
- Prepare and administer medications as directed by physicians, strictly following safety protocols.
- Schedule appointments, manage patient referrals, and handle incoming inquiries.
- Assist with laboratory tasks, including blood draws and specimen collection.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile environment in all clinical areas.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; completion of a Medical Assistant program is a plus but not mandatory.
- Previous healthcare experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient comfort.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with medical software.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) is required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
