Your Key Responsibilities

- Greet patients warmly and verify their personal and insurance information upon check-in.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient examinations, vitals, and basic procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms by sterilizing instruments and arranging medical equipment.
- Collect and prepare patient specimens (blood, urine) for laboratory analysis.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA.
- Administer medications and injections under the direct supervision of a licensed provider.
- Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and provide general patient education.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Willingness to complete on-the-job training and obtain Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
