As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in our clinic operations, ensuring our patients feel comfortable and receive the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Prepare patients for exams and assist with minor medical procedures.
- Manage medical records and maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
- Collect and process lab specimens accurately and efficiently.
- Greet patients and manage the front desk reception area as needed.
- Provide patient education regarding medications and follow-up care instructions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Certification as a CMA or RMA is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated entry-level candidates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Basic computer proficiency and electronic health records experience is a plus.
- CPR/BLS certification preferred.
- Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
