Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals checks, and medical history reviews accurately.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and administer injections, immunizations, and medications as ordered.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens for testing.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized clinical environment.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and documentation efficiently.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a clinical or ambulatory care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Valid FL driver's license and reliable transportation.
