Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including patient vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and medication administration
- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and minor surgeries
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and patient documentation
- Prepare exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and manage inventory
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Coordinate with nursing staff and specialists to ensure seamless patient flow
- Uphold HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, Meditech preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification (current)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to flexible shift schedules (days/evenings/weekends)
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in fast-paced settings
- Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure compliance
