Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, medical histories, and physical exams with precision.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and administer medications as directed by providers.
- Manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately and maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
- Perform phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing.
- Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and follow-up care.
Qualifications
- Certification as a CMA, RMA, or MA (National Certifications required).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, but new grads with externship experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong computer proficiency in electronic health record systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume medical setting.
