Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, injections, EKGs, and specimen collection
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Handle administrative duties including scheduling, billing, and insurance verification
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Maintain sterile environments and inventory control for medical supplies
- Coordinate referrals and communicate with specialty providers
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings/weekends
- Washington state MA license in good standing
