Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality clinical care during weekend shifts including vital signs, injections, and ECGs
- Manage patient records and administrative tasks remotely via secure EHR systems
- Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during in-clinic weekend rotations
- Coordinate patient education materials and telehealth appointments
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance for all patient data handling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless patient experiences
- Participate in weekend on-call rotation for urgent patient inquiries
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, eClinicalWorks preferred)
- Strong telehealth platform experience (Zoom, Doxy.me)
- Ability to work independently during remote shifts
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 8am-8pm)
- Valid Texas BLS/CPR certification
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
