Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and prepare examination rooms for procedures.
- Take and record vital signs and medical histories accurately.
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers during patient examinations and minor procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
- Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and follow-up care.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical setting is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
