Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and document medical histories
- Assist physicians during clinical procedures and perform basic laboratory tests
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision and confidentiality
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow efficiently
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory of medical supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Medical Assistant certification or CMA/RMA credential
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical terminology
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in fast-paced settings
- Associate's degree or Medical Assistant certificate from accredited program
